Q: What can I do with my Skyfire account? Why do I need a Skyfire account?
A: With a Skyfire account you are able to retain custom feeds, bookmarks, cookies and history even after switching phones. Simply log in to your account with the Skyfire client. Additionally, with an account you can participate in the Skyfire forum. This is a great way to make your voice heard, report issues you've encountered or find answers from the Skyfire community.

Q: How do I set up a Skyfire account?
A: Go to the Skyfire start page and click the link at the top right that says "Log In or Create Account." To create an account, enter your email address, password, and display name. You will get a confirmation email. Please ensure that you provide a valid email address, since this allows you to reset lost passwords.

Q: I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
A: On your phone, open Skyfire and select the 'Log in' link on the start page. Click the 'Forgot Password' link on the log in page. Once you provide the email address with which you originally created your account, you will receive an email to that account with a link to change your password. Follow this link and you will be able to set a new password.

If you did not provide a valid email address at account creation, or if this email address is no longer active, then you will not be able to recover your Skyfire account. Please create a new account.

Q: I have a new phone. I have a new phone number. What can I do to switch Skyfire to another phone?
A: Simple. Install Skyfire again by pointing your new phone's standard browser to http://get.skyfire.com and download the latest release. (See the FAQ entries related to installation for additional installation tips.) When installation is complete, launch Skyfire and log in to your account. You now can access your bookmarks and history. When you log in to your account on your new phone, your previous phone will be logged out.

Q: I want to change the email address I used when I signed up for Skyfire. How can I do this?
A: On your mobile device log into your account on Skyfire. There you can change all aspects of your current account (e.g. email, password or screen name).

Q: I want to make a post on your Forum, but I can't login. What should I do?
A: Anyone can read our User Forum. To post comments and participate in the Forum, you will need a Skyfire account. You can create an account on the browser start page, and use the same username and password to login to our Forum.
